Erika Coy, a wife, mother of four, and a Hudson County Corrections officer for 14 years, is in the midst of the toughest battle of her life.

In November of 2015, the 39-year-old from Wallington, New Jersey was diagnosed with Stage IV renal cancer (kidney cancer). Just one month later, the cancer spread to her brain and lungs. Her treatment is aggressive and ongoing at Hackensack University Medical Center.

While fellow Corrections Officers at the Kearny jail have donated vacation days to keep Officer Coy employed, the family is experiencing tough times. Coy’s husband, a carpenter, is by her side and caring full time for their four beautiful children, ages 14, 12, 8 and 6.

On Monday, February 15th, beginning at 8pm, we will be dedicating our pickup game matches to help the Coy family. For only a $20 donation (payable online or at the door), players can enjoy a full evening of unlimited, 5 v 5 pickup games at our 180 9th Street, Jersey City indoor field location.

You can register to attend this event online by clicking this link.

All proceeds from the night (including an on-site 50/50 raffle) will go towards a fund organized to pay six months of the family’s mortgage (total mortgage fundraising goal $15,000).
